Men With A Purpose
MEN WERE MADE TO LEAD

 The intent of God for men from the beginning, was to be the leaders in this world.

As I share a word for the Men of the Church, I want to make it clear that it is not meant nor can it take away from the contribution that the women of God have done and will continue to do in and out of the Church.

There are very clear places in scripture that witness to the ability and conviction of the women of the Body of Christ and all that they have accomplished. Just recently I shared a powerful word of a woman that would not leave her post. That was Moses older sister, the prophetess Miriam. It is likely that from the time that she stood guard over her little brother as he waited in the reeds of the Nile for the Pharoah’s daughter to rescue him from sure death, Miriam knew that he would grow up into someone that would play a part in the freeing of the Jews from their captivity in Egypt. She stood in faith for 80 years and was ready to go out with Moses and lead the people to the promised land. And she did just that. She was as any woman can be today, a devine work of God and great benefit to the Church and the work of it.

John 14:11–13 (NKJV)

11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves. 12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

As we read today from the Book of ISAIAH, we are reading about Jesus who will come and rescue us all from sin and death. But let us not forget that aside from us going to the cross as a sacrifice, we are able to and commanded to, do all the things that Jesus did, and more!

So, when we read about Jesus we know that the word is telling us what we are able and what we should be doing.

ISAIAH 42: 1-6
    1 “Behold! My Servant whom I uphold,  My Elect One in whom My soul delights!
     I have put My Spirit upon Him;  He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.
    2 He will not cry out, nor raise His voice, Nor cause His voice to be heard in the street.
    3 A bruised reed He will not break, And smoking flax He will not quench;
     He will bring forth justice for truth.
    4 He will not fail nor be discouraged, Till He has established justice in the earth;
     And the coastlands shall wait for His law.”
    5 Thus says God the LORD, Who created the heavens and stretched them out,
     Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it,
      Who gives breath to the people on it, And spirit to those who walk on it:
    6  “I, the LORD, have called You in righteousness, And will hold Your hand;
      I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the Gentiles,
